As a Senior Project Manager, you will be a team leader who collectively are responsible for advancing the project from the point of closed sale through site coordination for construction continuing through the manufacturing and production of the elevator or lift and onward to the installation of completion phase. This is a fully experienced level project management position with a wide variety of responsibilities that support our team to get our customers’ projects completed safely and at the highest quality. Major Duties with managerial oversight include:
- Manage high profile elevator projects from start to finish, including contract approval documents, change order management, billing, parts ordering & tracking, and close-out documents to ensure quality & profitable delivery.
- General ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, contracts & administration therein, general cost estimating and other construction related documents.
- Effectively Communicate company & installation needs with general contractors, property managers, subcontractors & building owners as well as onsite craftsman to drive project completion effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate organizational skills abiding by company policies & procedures as well as working knowledge of elevator installation processes.
- Ability to work as a team with the production shops, sales and operations departments to provide seamless deliveries of a final product to the customer at expected margins.
- Attend required job site meetings with clients providing updated schedules as needed.
- Respond to RFI’s in a timely manner to avoid interruptions with completion.
- Provide feedback on progress towards project goals to management and team members’ in weekly meetings.
- Assist with accounting/collections to assure client accounts are current.
- Establish/maintain project files and electronic files including data entry.
- Develop necessary relationships to successfully manage projects to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Participate in project meetings as needed.
- Enforce Contractor compliance
- Experience/knowledge of construction industry practices and/or managerial skilles preferred.
- 2 years minimum project management experience

Prime candidates for this position are experienced cabinet and/or door makers. Work location will be at our Salt Lake City manufacturing plant. Applicants must be able to read shop drawings and adequately fabricate a finished product to the requirements and specifications in the drawings. Because these are high-end custom products, attention to detail is demanded. Daily work with hardwood and sheet goods, and power tools is expected (table saws, drills, sanders, grinders, reciprocating and skill saws, etc), as well as working from step ladders. Staining and painting experience would be a plus. Forklift operator experience would be beneficial as well, however not required. Position is full time averaging approximately 40 – 50 hours per week.
